In 2022, a small group of community minded women came together to create the Green Heart Tribe, a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to promote and expand community beautification projects within the City of Vero Beach. We are committed to educating others in the advantages of street and public plantings, which enhance and beautify the community. We are dedicated to working with our private funds and local government to provide beautification efforts through plantings and maintenance within the public right-of-way.
All of our efforts are funded through community donations. As we expand our efforts, we remain committed to growing one flower at a time.
We strive to enhance the beauty of Vero Beach’s Barrier Island, by fostering a community driven effort to creatively beautify public spaces one flower at a time.
The vision of the Women’s Beautification Committee of Vero Beach is to elevate and promote the enhancement of Ocean Dr. and the Barrier Island by adding a personal touch and care to our public spaces. We take pride in our town and aim to unite like-minded women in a collaborative effort to make Vero Beach even more vibrant and appealing for all residents and visitors.
